It’s the first week, everything will be fine….
Week 1: 19th-23rd of August
It’s the end of the first week at Digify pro Nigeria cohort 4.0 Abuja. My experience so far has been not really draining as everyone would say, because I never really stretched myself, I just thought “everything will be fine”.
On the first day, we were introduced to digital marketing. This was very enlightening because I was exposed to opportunities in Email marketing and the relevance of pooling data in marketing. We also covered Personal branding: its essence and steps. This helped me re-evaluate & position myself.
Day 2 was really an interesting day for me because I really enjoyed the lecture from Mrs. Banke Alawaye. She made us understand the results of our personality tests and walked us through managing our Emotions and people in a workspace. I also got insights into how digital marketers operate in the Nigerian landscape & what is expected of them.
Although I had high expectations before the beginning of the training but I never envisaged that this first week will shake me up the way it did. Well, I’m already fastening my seatbelt & getting ready for week 2!
